This app could be SO useful, BUT the Touch ID does not work, there’s no way to “remember” log in info. Once I log in, the screen glitches for a few minutes, loading and reloading then I have to clear the whole app out and go back then it finally works. I do all of my nursing school things on my iPad Pro, notes everything, so having my ATI books accessible on it as well makes everything so much easier. My main complaint however, is the fact that I can’t “split the screen” on my Pro with this app, therefore if I’m attempting to take notes and need to look something up in this app, I have to keep flipping back and forth between the apps. I would love to see this improvement, however I am graduating this December but I’m sure others would benefit if that become available.
I must say I love the ATI app because it gives me the option to study comfortably without having my laptop in front of me. A couple things I really have to complain about are the fact you have to sign in every time you close the app. There’s no audio button that would be so beneficial when you’re driving or when you’re simply an auditory learner. Lastly, kind of annoying that the app and the online version do not sync. I annotate on the web version, but when I return to my phone it doesn’t match up and those notes aren’t on my account on my phone. That’s the biggest issue for me it kind of seems like I have two total different ebook accounts because nothing links up. Please start fixing these issues because it’d definitely deserve a 5 star rating if they were included!!
It would be a great app except for the fact that it won’t let me type in my password. My password involves a space, and I’ve never had an issue logging in online. But when I try to log in on the app I can’t use the space bar in my password, so my password is “incorrect.” I’ve found a workaround it by logging in online on my iPad, then opening an ebook there so it’ll open in the app, but that’s such a hassle. I can’t even set up the Touch ID because I need to log in first. But the app won’t let me. Please for the love of god fix that, it’s so irritating.
Logging on is a nightmare. A NIGHTMARE. In order to get mine to work, I have to log on my browser and open Pn ebooks. And from there, I launch the app and it works that way. But if you close the app for more than a minute, get ready to lose your page regardless of whether or not your used a bookmark or “save.” It will take you all the way back to the top so just write it down somewhere and get ready to scroll down a bunch of times. You can’t highlight or any of that on here also which is a bummer. Honestly, just use your ati book because this app won’t do you any favors. That, or open up your laptop and read from the browser.
I usually don’t write reviews for apps, but because of how much my school focuses on ATI, having a mobile app is very convenient to be able to access the books on the go. However, more than half of my attempts of actually using the app never works out. The fingerprint identification never works, I have to go in and re-download the book I want to go over, sometimes the books don’t open, and more. If the bugs were to be ironed out, I think this could be a great app, but as of now I am probably better off just carrying around the physical books.
