User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
I love being able to use the Apple Store application. That you can download load to your iPhones and be able to make a purchase for a certain item and then pay for it via the application and then go a pick it up. I think it's the same equivalent to all of the retail stores that have this kind of buy online and then go to pick up the product that day
This app does *NOT* allow you to have your item shipped to the store. For example the new 16inch mac book pro - can only ship to your home, with this app you can only ship to your home, you cannot choose “Pick up at store”. Fundamentally, any time an order crosses a certain MONEY threshold it becomes a HIGH VALUE purchase. This app should automatically offer and state: “This is a high value order, to ensure that porch pirates do not take your order would you like to pick the order up at your local Apple store?” There are MANY places for example apartment complexes that sign for your shipment - but *WILL*NOT* accept responsibility if it is lost. If you don’t believe me - go ask any large apartment complex near your own offices. By diverting the order to an official store you do 2 things: (1) the safety of the order is ensured, and (2) You Apple, have an additional opportunity to sell your customer more stuff. If there are no Apple stores locally, choose an existing local retailer that sells your product and offer to ship the product to that store, effectively converting the sale from an “apple-direct” into “local store” sale - you gain in two ways: (A) The big box retailer makes their normal profit, (B) they assume the porch pirate risk, and (C) the customer gets good face to face service, (D) your customers have a better overall experience. But currently, its stupid - and your customers have to assume the risk for porch pirates.
I purchased AirPods at 7pm for store pickup (said it would be ready by 8pm). I showed up at store at 7:30pm. The store rep said they couldn’t help me and that I would have to wait for processing. 8pm came and the store was still empty so I asked another rep to check and he said that I would have to wait as I continue to see them bring AirPods out for in store customers. 8:15pm came and I called Apple Support, which called the store to ask what was taking so long....the store rep reassured Apple Support that it wouldn’t be much longer. 9pm and the store is closing....frustrating and I asked to speak to a manager. The product came out shortly after I ask to speak to the manager.....only 1 hour over due!
I tried to purchase an item from Apple store. First tried Microsoft edge app with no success. I also tried safari app with no success. Finally tried this app and this has a bug for the PR abbreviation. It says it’s not a valid state. Finally I Complete the order in my Windows 10 pc using Microsoft edge without any problem. This is a shame for a company that claim the iPad substitute a pc. An app with that type of bugs at this history time it’s really a shame. Finally I end uninstalling this app from my app. I can’t make a single order with this app this supposed to be its main feature. Please repair this simple bug!!! And in the future please don’t make that terrible errors.
First, this is a review about the Apple Store App, not the Apple Store, the App Store, your phone carrier, etc. I’ve pre-ordered through the app, scheduled pick ups through the app, plus you can shop around just as well as going to the website. As for Apple‘s service, in general, I have had their employees bend over backwards to help me out. The app is great, what happens after using the app is another issue.
