I went ahead and purchased the full game despite the reviews warning of glitches and freezing. I only encountered freezing in a certain part of the third case, which seemed to resolve itself after I closed out of some other open apps and let my phone cool down a little (game tends to make my phone run warm if played for a long time). I played on an iPhone SE... so if you have that or something better the game should run fine for you. The game is even better than I remember. The graphics are sharp and clean. The user interface has been optimized for mobile devices (especially easy to read on my small phone). Definitely worth the price and one of my favorite Ace Attorney games!
I don't know what everyone's problem with the game is. Compared to the many glitches and problems I had to face in the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, this is a piece of heaven in my book. First off, the HD is great. The animations and artwork look amazing and clean. The gameplay is a major upgrade from how the Trilogy was done. Sections like the map examinations aren't so glitchy compared to the Trilogy and forensics sections are very smooth to control. Sure the music at times faces a glitch, but it can be fixed by closing the app and entering it again. The app is great and is something people should definitely buy if you wanted to know the story behind Apollo Justice's first year as an attorney.
I’ve played the original and was floored by the experience, so when I heard an HD iOS port was out, I couldn’t wait to play it with refined sprites and assets. Since I didn’t have enough funds, I was only able to purchase two of the four available cases. When connected to the internet, I had no problem playing the cases I owned, but while I was offline, despite having already been paid for, I was unable to access them as a text reading ‘Purchase Content’ restricted my entry. I hope I’m not asking for too much, but please fix this Capcom.
Im playing on an Ipad 2, and the game works pretty good except for the fact that EVERYTHING IS SLOW! Does it just not work on old devices like this? I have the trilogy, and DD on here. Still have plenty of space, they work just fine for me...yet this one is super slow. I dont get it. I would think the 3DS version would need more space than this. Even with the rediculous amount of space it required, I still have room left. So my Ipad is fine, its just the game plays slow for this device. Is there a way to fix this perhaps? It should be working just fine for my device. Im not buying a whole new ipad for this game.
I love the ace attorney games and was excited to buy this when it came out. How ever, the game crashes at certain points, and unlike the previous games you cannot start from a certain point in a chapter, ergo, at each of these crash points you must skip the entire chapter which you paid for. I contacted the capcom support for this game weeks ago and have not heard back from them. Furthermore, if you buy the chapters, and then go to play offline, it will not recognize your purchase and you must go online to restore them. And last but not least is the pricing, and while $15 for a full video game isn't a bad deal by any means, but it bothers me that the ¢99 you pay upfront only unlock half of the first case and then you have to buy each case from there.
