User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
Several problems have started with the latest update. It easier to accidentally hit the delivery address select than the back arrow, important things like easy access to the deals keeps disappearing and most annoyingly, it’s quit loading messages. Between all those, it makes the app near useless for what had been one of its long standing best uses (getting notifications for watched deals so you could access them from anywhere without watching the clock) because now the notifications send you to the messages that don’t load which leaves you to go digging through the app to find your watched deals tab. Restarting the app doesn’t help, restarting the phone doesn’t help, even uninstalling it and reinstalling it directly to the current version doesn’t help. Looks like it’s going to be this way till there’s another update.
One of the main reasons I used this app was to browse items while quickly and easily dragging and dropping them into the wish list of my choosing. Pressing down on an item would also make your wish list tray appear at the bottom of the screen, which could be changed. And to make things extra convenient, the latest items dropped in your wish list would be visible at the bottom of the screen. The recent update changed the function to touching a heart next to the image of the item and it apparently shows up in your current wish list that is at the bottom of the screen... but it doesn’t automatically show up in the tray unless you view the wish list. Another problem is if you decide to “hide list tray,” it will tell you to just press down on any item to make the list reappear... but it doesn’t. So once you hide it, you can apparently never get it back. After doing so, pressing the heart for an item will just automatically add the item to the latest wish list you have added to. The only way to change the wish list things are added to is by pressing the “add to wish list” button. Eliminating a function that made it easy and user friendly to shop and save items to wish lists is a big failure on Amazon’s part. I honestly see no real reason to use the app all that much anymore outside of checking my order statuses.
Well, I suppose it had to come to this. After it was never possible to copy text in the iPad app, now with the latest update, that feature has been removed from the iPhone app as well. Not exactly sure why it had to be removed, but it’s annoying as heck. Sometimes I want to copy a link in the FAQ of a product or copy specs or the product ID. Now I’ll have to use the browser to do so. Fail. Another non-working feature is adding and removing of items from the wishlist shown at the bottom of the screen in a separate tray. One was able to long press an item and either add or remove it. Not sure why that feature was removed. The top idiocy is when trying to provide feedback from within the app. There’s a pop-up stating that you cannot do so unless you have an email associated with your account. The fact that I’m locked into my account doesn’t matter, I suppose. The only place to add an email is in the public section of my profile. Do they really think I’ll do that? What for? If I place an order they don’t insist on me adding that information and I’m still getting the item and all the notifications via email. What more information do they need?
Learn how to leverage all the Artificial Intelligence organically built into the app and you’ll have the best food and products on the map. It’s all about education. When you purchase a product look for its “related items” and add those to your “cart” as well. Be open minded don’t immediately check out after you “select your initial item of choice”. Look for “additional products that are compatible with your original product of choice”. That’s all you have to do. It takes a little more dilligence and patience but it’s well worth “the additional investment”. After while you’ll have your own personal “fortress”. Good sleep and peaceful days and nights (only 24 hours in a day and you can only be in one place at a time so make every second count). World Peace ☮️ - Antwan 🎯
I saw a swimsuit. I wanted it. I clicked on it. What came up was NOT the swimsuit. Not even anything to DO with the swimsuit! And so I quit. It seems that if anybody is serious about selling something they would put the price on everything they show, so people would not waste their precious time FINDING IT on these mindless ads! If the lost customers would all take the time to complain, you will be astounded at how many of us have quit "messing" with you. We see something we want...we check the price...we make the decision based on the price. Occasionally we go to the trouble to slick on the item and find out the price. But when we click and some kind of photography supplies come up with nothing whatsoever to do with our item...piss on you, and your "outsmart the customer attitude!" GET REAL. GET IN TOUCH. You want to sell. We want to buy! Unless you are ashamed of your prices, ditch your haughty "smarter than the customer...so we will trick them"! PUT THE PRICE ON THE ITEM YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL.
