For the past 2 years, Absolut have been the only taxi service we’ve used. Well until last night anyway! We booked a taxi on Wednesday to be picked up on Saturday. We booked it early because we needed a 5 seater. When it came to it last night, it didn’t turn up. We must have rung the office about 6 times and every time we’re given a new shoddy excuse as to why it wasn’t there. They then offered to send 2 cars for the cost of £11 each even though we’d booked one car! We were left stranded with 3 children and eventually had to find our own way home! Well it takes one thing to lose the trust, so I definitely won’t be back booking with these again. Between the lies and the lack of customer care and service, I’d stay well away!

I realise it’s not the taxi drivers fault, but the people in the office. I booked a taxi to pick my son up from school, the driver wasn’t dispatched for 15 mins after my booked time! I was 20 minutes late to pick my poor 6 year old up. I booked the taxi over an hour in advance. You should state on your app that you don’t honour your booking times/ slots! Attitude on phone was awful too. Never using again. Driver that picked me up was great and went out his way to accommodate me. So big thank you to Chris in the silver Toyota.

My 15 yr old daughter was left stranded with her older friend yesterday after watching a film at Vue in Doncaster. Taxi booked at 11.20pm was cancelled by Absolute and they had to wait til 2am in A nearby MacDonald’s for another cab. I had the same issue a few months ago, after booking a cab for 5pm after it was late I phoned , they told me they weren’t coming , they said yes I booked it , but it’s not coming!!

Absolute Cabs are very reliable. Love the fact that they text to confirm the booking, text when on their way and text at the end of the journey with the price paid for the fare. I would definitely recommend

I have always found this firm to be both reliable and efficient.
