There are things that I do like about this app, mostly the lack of annoying ads between every single 3 minute song they watch. But I really wish it would allow the ability to make playlists, and/or just bookmark particular content creators. My kids love a few particular educational channels, and I already miss the ability to make a curated playlist for them on the original YouTube app. Increased parent functionality on this kids app would help.
PREVENT DEVICE FROM SLEEPING??? This app needs an option for the parent to control whether they want the app to sleep after set time OF NOT BEING USED or not. If the child walks away from the device while this app is still playing, the app will play UNTIL THE DEVICE DIES OR SOMEONE TURNS IT OFF MANUALLY. Please fix this and leave parents with the capabilities to change this LOCKED permission. Other wise this app is amazing.
My kids LOVE this app. I find it more educational and a lot better for them than regular youtube or other video apps. This offers both of my kids plenty of options for both age ranges and with having a timer option, they dont fight over taking turns. It will automatically cut off the video, saying "Times up!" and they will come in excitedly stating, my turn! It helps teach them patience for sure 😁 I recommend this app 10/10 and 10 stars if i could!
1. no option to filter video suggestions on basis of language. Get rubbish from all unknown languages. 2. Timer time-out goes away if application is quit & restarted. RIDICULOUS. 4. videos are not age appropriate. shows cooking videos to a 4 year old. 5. lots of meaningless videos of cars on roads simply commuting, people doing absolutely meaningless things etc. no learning from them whatsoever. Sole objective of such meaningless videos must be to make kids mentally dull and numb. bad app
This app is terrible. You can watch Jimmy Falon, but not a simple watercolor speed paint. Almost all non English songs are banned, even if the lyrics are fine. J pop is completely gone. I can watch more stuff on my school Chromebook than on this, and that's saying something. If a song deals with oppression and mental illness it is unavailable. It is complete bs. Also lgtbq stuff is incredibly rare. 🙁
