Tiny Scanner Pro: PDF Doc Scan

Useful tool, I've been using this app for a while and it was super handy to generate pdf files (mainly made out of marked up pictures) on the go to be emailed to relevant people which saved me a lot of time and I was able to attach much more pictures than doing it other way by attaching it individually to the email and being only half way in seeing a message that it's already over 25mb limit... Anyway - this was a brief description for one of many good uses for this app. Thumbs up Dev team!

This is an excellent scanning app. I didn't feel like spending hundreds of dollars on a scanner when I was getting rid of my paper records so I used this instead. I'd say it's naturally less efficient than a physical scanner because you need to frame up the doc in the camera and adjust edges, but again, much lower cost. I've had no issues with quality. Great buy.

Now I don't give apps a review as there are too many out there to do this and certainly not after a couple of weeks use. I have used Tiny Scanner Pro for nearly three years and below is my review. Punches well above its weight. Easy to use, easy to send receipts to my accounting software. Saves in all the file types .pdf .jpg and many more. It hasn't failed, fallen over or.let me down in anyway. If you are self employed or a very small business then this app is worth considering.

Just switched from an iPhone to Android and I miss the iPhone version. It would remember your preference for batch vs single page, if you were doing a batch it let you review the edge boundaries immediately after you were finished taking pictures instead of having to go back after and try and fix them, the edge detection worked better, and in one of the latest updates they added a feature where you could move the boundary for the whole side of the page instead of having to move each corner.

I love the convience of being able to use my phone as a scanner. This is especially handy when an item is something to large to fit on the printer scanner bed. I appreciate being able to create my own folders for sorting too. Great for genealogy research on the go.
