STC Pay app is great, but recently I have a problem, I topped up my wallet using my debit card and was supposed to send an international remittance which is equivalent to the amount in the wallet. According to the app I already reached my maximum limit for remittances for the month. But 1 month back, I did the same thing but the topped up amount was not counted as a recharge limit & was able to send a remittance on the same day. Why is that?
The good side is very quick money transfer. Overall App is amazing, so much options to transfer the money and to top up your wallet. But the worse thing is if your transaction went ON HOLD then you have to wait for long time until WU updates STC. You can only check the status for your transaction, if it is ON HOLD you have to follow up again and again with customer service.
Although my last review about this service was not positive, where my international transfer took more than 25 days. This time I tried this app again for my 2nd international transfer and money transferred within 15 min. I would suggest service provider to work on the customer service to assist app user to solve their issue as soon as possible. Best of luck
Unable to buy sawa recharge. Ards on new update!! Firstly it enforces you to only be able to recharge a mobile number. And then it throws an error. The previous version was better when you could easily just buy off recharge cards. If they want to enforce to only be able to recharge without card then it's still not working.. Always gives error on purchasing recharge.
STCPay still doesn't have a good technical team to reaolve the cash in problem. I added last month 15Oct-2019 SR. 5000 from my Credit Card but this month until now I didn't add even 1 riyal but getting error "Your monthly cash in for this card has reached" This is ridiculous. This is your problem to fix and don't put it on the banks. I bank has the limit and also they didn't decline my transaction. That's why I say again that STCPay still a child and can't fulfill or resolve the users problem.
