User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
2 simple updates should make the app much more user-friendly. [As usual, I don't expect them to read or make this change] 1. Make the X (delete) button bigger and get rid of the "No of Messages" down below. More than 50% of the time, I end up opening the article when I tried to click on the X button (to delete the article). A very simple change. 2. Add the X or Delete button "inside the article". After you finish reading the article, able to delete it right away. Why get out and click X?
Useful for keeping abreast of market news, and there are a number of great contributors providing their analyses. Unfortunately there's no way to mute commenters, as a lot of boomers using the platform seem to think this is an appropriate venue to rant about politics or air other controversial nonfinancial views. There's also no switch to hide user comments altogether, which would be a very easy fix without negative implications for content.
Excellent app. Allows you to keep tabs on any stock you are interested in. Allows you to create any number of lists of stocks, categorized how you want. Allows access to articles being written on any stocks you are following. Gives you the current price of any stock you are following at any time. It has charts over varied periods. If you are an amateur or a professional investor, you must get Seeking Alpha.
Used to be a good financial research app! Unfortunately, the current version freezes and crashes all the time. I have to force close and restart frequently. Very frustrating. A real shame as I enjoy using the site. Used to enjoy it more before they started locking content behind a pay wall. The prices they want for access to what used to be provided free is ridiculous.
Has excellent features but frequently freezes or crashes on my note 4. I don't have this problem on other finance apps. Edit 10/23, I have tried reinstalling and I do have the current build. The problem happens while scrolling or following a link. It seems to happen most often with long articles with lots of ads. Strangely, it happens a lot with Brad Thomas posts.
