Postmates - Food Delivery

I use this app all the time at work when I'm by myself. Purchases have always been around $20 and I never really stressed it until recently. I looked at the receipt screen and what the app said I spent didn't add up to the total, there was a $3 difference. It's not tax or tip since those are both included in the receipt, the only thing I can think of is that Postmates literally steals from you. I tried to contact Postmates but you just get sent to an unhelpful Q and A. Do not use.

Several *glitch* charges, a big one being with Panera. Whenever you order anything that comes with cheese and you choose the default menu option, there will always be an additional fee. This happens on EVERY one of their menu items that state to come with cheese. Wouldn't be a huge deal other than there is no other way to bring the issue up to Postmates internally I guess. I tried to submit an issue with the order but nothing. Seems like a shady way to scam some change.

I like the app, but is not the easiest to use. Some of the menu offerings on Postmates are not complete. For instance lunch menu offerings instead of ordering a complete entree. Second, you might explain the payment options better. We were gifted a Postmates gift card which we have since used completely by the way. The issue is not being able to just opt to use the gift card at checkout. One other small thing is not having an option to see the balance you have on a giftcard. Like the service.

This app used to be fantastic when they first came out. It is super convenient when you are in a pinch or are not feeling well. That being said, they started spiking the price of food items, adding a service charge, adding small cart fees, adding delivery fees, then you still need to add tax and tip. An item that you always purchase for $5 is likely to have a base price of about $8 on here then add taxes and fees so that item will cost you about $17. Greed at its finest!

It's a good app but needs improvement. Notifications are slow to where if you're notified about a postmate and click the notification, it says theres none around to take your order. Customer service is trash that doesn't read what you email them about but only searches for key words and replies with a pre-written message based off your message that most likely won't fit your problem. I've tried twice now with emailing support and haven't gotten an answer or if it.
