User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
So after finding out that my original subscription on my Nvidia Shield TV console was not supposed to be available and that it was still beta testing, I got support to cancel it, and then I resubscribed with my phone. Then on Jan.1, 2020, I get an email saying my service has been cancelled. Tablet/phone app don't work, but the Nvidia Shield beta app that isn't supposed to be available does. Motortrend says its Googles fault, and Google says that my subscription is still active. WHAT A GONG!
Works great when im just trying to watch on my phone, cant get it to play through my chromecast tho. Emailed my concern but was told i can only play it through a chromecast....which is what i was trying to do. Just want to be able to cast my shows without mirroring my phone, also would like customer service to actually read the emails before responding.
This is a good app, it still has a few bugs with remembering where I left off on some shows, but it has great content available. My experience has been very good with the app, and the only feature I feel it could use is a picture-in-picture function (like YouTube or VLC Media Player) so that the app can continue to run whilst doing another task on our phones or tablets. I'm still happy to have access to my favorite shows, and the pleased with the app after a year.
I love this app now. I though I would sign up for the 14 day trial but I needed to run it on an android box. All went well until I couldn't figure out how to scroll in the app with only my remote. I had on old Logitech diNovo Mini keyboard plugged it into my android box and now I can scroll through all the pages and love this app. I saw adverts for $4.99 a month that's USD more like $6.99 a month Canadian. I think it is still worth it and will probably continue the subscription after the trial. 3 days in I have not had any problems with the app its been flawless. Maybe the people having problems with the updates should do a clean install.
Love the app. I do however find it really annoying that since I've updated the app I cant find the settings to set up options like auto play. I also preferred how before the update the original shows were listed in their own category and others were listed elsewhere. Other than these few nick picks love it.
