With today's update, 10/30/19, I was signed out without notice. Had I not been home when my landline rang, I wouldn't have found this out. Bring back the distinct ringtone! It differentiates cell phone from home phone calls. Ever since the update in March, this app has quickly become useless. "Never miss a call when you take your magicJack number with you" they say. I haven't received a call with this app since Apr. 11th. Please fix!! The app was great. I don't know why you had to break it.
I do not like the new MJ app. What was wrong with the old one? Why change? The screen is now blah. Lost all my contacts with the upgrade. Does not stay connected, so when I'm away from home I can't receive calls unless I have it pulled up on my screen. If I'm in maps getting driving directions, MJ does not let me know if there is a call coming in. I want my old MJ app back, it worked just fine and I NEVER missed a call!
Don't use it. Don't buy it The new version of the app can't receive calls. And you have to log out and then in in order to make calls. This application is worthless, it's not working and the customer support can't resolve this problem. Horrible product. An update: now I can't even make or receive calls. The application tells me: "couldn't make calls". Please don't use this application it's a borderline scam this application. You pay money and you get nothing basically.
The old version was much better. If I had the option I would swap back, some things are better left alone. Does not auto start sentence with capital letter. Is slower to respond. Not sure why they decided to fix something that didn't seem to me to be broken. Sometimes locks up...Sux more everyday. MJ, please return to old app! Update,, reinstalled app today, 6 Dec. Has improved.
still has serious bugs. locks up and must be force stopped and restarted. New version came out this week. I thought it couldn't get any worse. I was wrong. Still misses calls in my house ( home phone rings, this doesn't). And now it is as slow to respond to keyboard as heinz ketchup. Thats being kind.
