Note to the dev: Thanks for continuing to support your app!!! The new UI is incredible and adds more of a "factory" look to the app. It runs smoother, faster and at a better aspect ratio. The graphics look tight and lags very little. I had a issue with USB not connecting on the old version. Wifi still worked so that was a plus. I plugged my phone in to charge after the update and found USB connection works again! Woo-hoo! I'm very impressed with the new look and overall functionality!
I have a widescreen 10.8" Android head unit fitted to my car which included a dongle for Android auto, it worked fine but the display was all stretched and out of resolution, this app solves this problem as you can set the dpi and resolution within the app, also I don't need the dongle as it works directly into the head unit's USB ports. Definitely worth the price and have recommended to others with the same head unit.
Wifi AA works well with my basic headunit, am glad they shifted out of the Woodman deal in India, (for which I paid thrice the price) now there can be an upgrade path as well to AA 4.8. Just go through the instructions and email the dev, he has been very responsive to all my emails.
It connects and works for a few seconds and shuts off again, or if I touch anything it shuts off and says p2p connection failed, if I try to reconnect. Have to turn everything off and plug phone back in to grt it to connect, then does same thing
Works well. Had a little trouble setting it up at first but the developer was very responsive and helpful. I finally have Android Auto on a decent sized screen in my car!
