There’s no need to own a computer and a barcode scanner to manage books in a small library, the Handy Library app has almost features to replace them. Loved the interface and neat design. A must have app if you maintain a personal library.
Great app to keep track of my books. Is making my life easier when buying new books.
This app is great for keeping track of books at home ! I have far too many books that I can't keep track of and have been known to buy a book when I had it already... I would love if another option could be added to move books around on different shelves, just like I might do in real life ! Also there is a slight problem with the numbering, when I have series it puts the 10/11/12 after the 1, and not after 9 :/
Good app. I have just started using this app, and so far it has been able to pick up the information on some of my older books fairly well. My newer books it has zero trouble finding and relaying the information. If the book does not have a number, I can still enter it and take a picture of the cover. I like the fact that I can change what needs to be changed or add more if needed. This app has helped me to find duplicate books in my personal library that I will now donate to my local community.
I like this app a lot. However, my main beefs are that it does not allow connecting to an email or app account, which means that my wife and I can't manage our library from the same account, and that it doesn't have some of the statistics information available in other apps. These include total number of pages in library, total pages read, cost of library, etc. I appreciate the "lending" functionality and the amount of data that the app pulls in when it auto-populates from the barcode scanner, which in my opinion are superior to other apps. But without an account option, I can't give it five stars. I could do without the statistics function, but that would be nice to have also. The account thing is my main concern.
