So. this app is amazing. It gives you the option to select the date of your dream, so even if you forget to journal, you can add dreams from days, or even weeks ago. Today as I was typing it accidentally closed the app, and was frustrated I'd lost my words and had to start over. I reopen the app.....IT SAVES AUTOMATICALLY. So. So good. You get to add a title, description, emoji, tags, and select if it was a nightmare or lucid dream. It also tracks patterns. so much personalization!
Just great! the perfect dream journal. I had another app before and was happy with it until I realized that what I was writing was public and I couldn't do anything about it. Started searching again, found this one and been using it since and I am really really happy about it because it has new useful features that make all simpler.
I didn't know I would have to pay a Netflix monthly subscription to use the app at all. $5 my @$$. I wouldn't pay for this app anyways, I've seen a lot of complaints about people losing data. I didn't have the app for very long, but I put my dream in and tags only to find I have to pay for interpretation. I don't think so pal. I won't be changing my rating here either. Good day to you.
I do generally like the app, but have concerns. Recently I find that the app doesn't save my dreams sometimes. I will record several times a night and often one of my edits does not stick. Have not been able to reproduce at will, it's totally random. No data export feature. This is a big problem as now I am worried about losing data and it is not easy to get my data off the app. Finally, the app struggles to handle large entries. The text box has trouble scrolling after so long.
So far this app is fantastic. Just what I needed to organize and track patterns in my dreams, and record important information about them all in one place. I have been doing dream interpretation for myself and others for about 18 years now and this is a great tool to add to my 'set'. Thanks, Dream Catcher! Please don't change a thing!!
