User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
The app is easy to navigate. Recipes are always a hit; however, I can't seem to find some of the recipes that are on the budgetbytes website. Perhaps it's a search function error, or they're simply not uploaded to the app? I'll stick to the web version for now.
I LOVE this app! I've been using it for a few months now and it has helped tremendously with cooking good on a budget, plus I can try new recipes and keep thinga interesting at home. May I make a suggestion? Perhaps add an option for "meal planning"? One that you can save for the week so you dont have to search for it again? (Though I suddenly realize I could just make a cookbook tab labeled "weekly meals") Bottom line: Highly reccommend this app and have referred friends to this as well!
I'd really give 3.5 ⭐ I really like it and is easy to use. I like having the ability to filter recipes. I've made 2 so far and both are really good! My problem: for paying $2.99 for a BUDGET friendly app, I'd like to see either calories per recipe or serving. I can do math and figure it out, but.... $2.99. Also, there may be more on the free website, like meal prep ideas, etc, that seem to be missing on the app.
I love budget bytes and its nice to conveniently have the app in my pocket. I had a few problems with the fuctionality of the app: 1. Recipes don't stay selected when you switch out of the app. This is frustrating when trying to build a grocery list, ill have to swap back to the BB app and reselect the recipe and scroll down. 2. The recipes are not exactly the same from the website. I've noticed the instructions are not as informative as from the website.
Love budget bytes. Meals I prepare for my family are almost exclusively from this site. Easy guide instructions on app, incorporating timers and how-to videos make this first rate.

Why am I so excited about this app? Well, let me just list a few of the super cool things it can do…
-Deliver the recipes you love faster and easier without waiting for a website (or annoying ads) to load. Plus, save recipes to personal “cookbooks” to access your favorites even faster.
-Filter recipes by price to get recipes that are the best fit for your budget.
-Adjustable serving sizes let you cook the amount that you want and reduce food waste.
-Access how-to technique videos right in the instructions so you can cook with extra confidence.
-Cook with me, in real time! We wanted to make this app extra personal, so you’ll have my voice giving you step-by-step instructions as you cook.”
