User reviews affect conversion to installs and app rating. Featured and helpful reviews are the first to be noticed by users and in case of no response can affect download rate. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them.
It was great it was fine until just now. I don't know why, I restarted my phone, I'm deleting it currently and trying to redownload it. Whenever I'm watching YouTube or Netflix and the chat pops up, I try to respond by tapping the "reply" button and it turns my phone off. The messages are lagging too. It's irritating. Hope it can be fixed.
The default Android app to read and write messages is quite handy and light-weight. All the messages from the same number are grouped together making it easier to view entire conversation history. There is also the facility to add emojis, preview links, add photos using MMS etc. The feature to block messages from a phone number does not work properly, as the messages from the blocked number keep on appearing on the top.
It's good for sending messages.. but the chat features don't work well. It works for a couple contacts and one of my contacts it worked for for a few weeks now there's no way to make it work.. and since it's through Google there is no customer support to call for help.. you can send an email that won't get a response.. hopefully you can get the chat features with your phone with out google
Even when you're not using it, it flashes "messages not working" (yes I've reported it several times, no they can't be bothered responding). There's many messages apps. This has got to be the worst. It came installed on my android so I didn't get a choice. With it being Google (who don't give you a choice) I'm going to have to root my android to stop this waste of space taking up valuable space
Messages is my preferred method of sending text messages. It has everything I need and I can even use my them on my computer as well. Amazing. It can use all kinds of keyboards also, and has a nice camera feature. I can also send other files such as spreadsheets, videos, and even apk files. Lastly, I love the feature which creates a small description and picture of a website when I post a link. Overall, great app!
